This year, the Mighty Black & Gold band is bigger than ever. Currently, there are approximately 170 members in the band, which is almost 30 more members than last year. While this is very exciting news, it also presents quite a challenge for Mr. Weaver and the band boosters because it means more money is needed to buy items such as new uniforms and instruments. We certainly have our work cut out for us ... volunteer participation is needed now more than ever.
UPCOMING BOOSTER EVENTS ...

Listed below are just a few upcoming events in which we'll need volunteers. Keep in mind the boosters stay busy year-round, so this list is always growing and changing. If you're interested in volunteering to work at any of the following events, please send an e-mail to mhsbb@rocketmail.com.


* Tues, Dec 9   ... Next booster meeting/Christmas party, 6:00  p.m. in the band room.  We'll have a brief meeting followed by the Christmas party. It's pot luck, so bring a covered dish. Also, bring a $10 gift if you'd like to participate in the "dirty Santa" gift exchange (if you and your spouse plan to participate, bring two gifts).

* Sat, Dec 13, thru Sun, Dec 14 ... Redneck Festival in Chumuckla.  This is a two-day event, so we need as many volunteers as possible.
Volunteer response has been amazing this year. All of you have really stepped up to the challenge ... thank you so much for your help!!
